Jonathan – May 2023We had such a great stay at Carmen’s place! It’s exactly as described. It’s steps to an amazing beach that has some pretty good surf. We had clean sheets and towels everyday and an amazing breakfast in the garden. We couldn’t have asked for more. The also a store and excellent restaurant within walking distance.
Nick – April 2023What a beautiful, peaceful refuge right on one of the nicest beaches. Wish we had stayed for a week instead of only a few days. Clean space that stayed cool at night with a well stocked kitchen. Could hear the ocean at night and spot monkeys in the morning. Breakfast included and coffee in the room was an added treat!

Nearby Quepos and Dominical had many restaurants and activities John, David and Kim were so knowledgeable about the wildlife and always ready to help. Such a lovely staff. Rosetta – March 2023We loved this stay, comfortable bed, great indoor and outdoor showers, big kitchen, lots of space for two people! You are right on the beach with nice waves to play in and animals around! The area is quiet and you have to drive about 15 minutes to Dominical for “town things” but that is exactly what we desired for our stay. The staff is super friendly.
Natalie – February 2023We had an amazing time at Carmen’s place! It’s right on a beautiful and quiet beach. Carmen made sure to introduce herself to us and show us all of the wildlife on the property, including a couple of sloths! They also cleaned daily and provided a lovely breakfast. We spent most of the time there relaxing, swimming, and watching the wildlife and sunsets, but it’s also an easy drive to bigger areas. We went whale watching in Uvita and found a waterfall there to go swim in, which Carmen recommended. I would highly recommend staying here!

Sandrine – January 2023An absolutely gem of a stay. The location is incredible – teeming with wildlife, next to 2 great restaurants (El Patio & La Langosta Feliz), and an astounding beach (clear water, black sand, and natural) with mountains to your left facing Dominical and raw nature on your right. The sunsets were mind-blowing, and the property / bungalow were nicely decorated. The staff on premise were really kind and helpful during the day, and the breakfast they made was a nice bonus too. Overall, I think this was an amazing stay in Costa Rica – will 100% actually be returning here in the future.

Gina – October 2022Carmen’s place in Savegre was the highlight of our Costa Rican trip. If you’re considering this part of the coast then don’t hesitate to book with Carmen and Dreamy Bungalows! We loved every minute and wished we had stayed much longer than two nights! We came from the crazy world of Manuel Antonio to this slice of paradise before heading back into the mountains. The bungalow apartment is right on the beach and has everything you need for a relaxing stay (beach towels, A/C, board games, balcony views and kitchen appliances). We had breakfast served every morning right on the beach. The wildlife was the best we experienced out of all of our AirBnB Costa Rican stays (sloths in the tree right next to the apartment, capuchin monkeys, iguanas, humming birds, pelicans). We loaned the bodyboards as well, which made our stay so much fun, or you can just relax on the beach in the hammocks and sun loungers The place is near enough to Dominical for a short drive (we recommend Fuego brewery for drinks and food) and Phat Noodle is also good too. Wish we’d stayed even longer. Thank you!
