This beautiful bungalow is just steps from the beach, falling asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing on shore was incredible (bonus I didn’t even have to use a white noise machine for our 11 month old to sleep)! We really enjoyed the breakfast since it’s such a rare amenity when renting with Airbnb 🙂 the beach is so beautiful and extremely private, it’s close to towns like Dominican, uvita, and manuel Antonio if you want to go out to eat or explore. We would definitely return and ended up booking an extranight because we enjoyed our time so much, thanks so much for sharing this beautiful space with us!

Loved the setting!! Denis our host and other staff – Roberto and Andres all were gracious and so nice to to visit with. The whole place is charming, neat and clean as a pin. We stayed in the upper cabana with the ocean breeze floating in and the sound of waves, fabulous bed/pillows. Good sized refrigerator the bathroom was large and well lit.

We came down for a quick business trip and my wife booked Dreamy Contentment. We were not disappointed. Our host was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the town and local area. Breakfast was served every morning based on our timeline. We took the complimentary bicycles out and toured the town along with the beach, which this property adjoins. There was a dog name Flaschia (not sure if it’s spelled correct) who never left our side and we taught a few tricks. We would strongly recommend anyone looking for their own oasis in a sleepy town to check out Dreamy Contentment.

Ontbijt was uitstekend, goed klaargemaakt door de eigenaresse (Carmen Trummer) Het huis was comfortabel ingericht met in de verte zicht op de zee, die ongeveer 2 minuten verder lag. Daar prima strandstoelen met parasol. Zandstrand met mooie zee. Bij het huis een buiten douche. Scheelt een hoop zand binnen. De locatie is niet super toeristisch wat wij heel prettig vinden. In het kleine keukentje is eigenlijk alles aanwezig als je zelf wil koken, waaronder een prima koelkast. Eigenaresse zeer attent en aardig. Haar persoonlijkheid maakte het verblijf extra aangenaam.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It’s the perfect location and the perfect little place to stay. The beautiful lodgings and location encapsulate an amazing tropical paradise. You’re right on the beautiful Matapalo beach and you can hear the ocean at night as you fall asleep. Additionally Melissa and Chuck are amazing hosts and did so many little wonderful things, like fresh flowers in the rooms, trip advice, wonderful meals, etc. that made me feel right at home. It’s an amazing place to get away from it all and Chuck and Melissa made it the perfect stay with their warmth and friendliness.
