Superlage direkt am Strand. Von unserer Terrasse konnte man das Wasser sehen. Am hauseigenen Strandabschnitt (ca. 25m über das Grundstück) waren Liegen und Sonnenschirme zur Nutzung vorhanden. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Betreiber.
Hans-christian, GermanyBeautiful cabins on the beach. We spent two nights here while we explored the beautiful surroundings. The beach is very beautiful. At times we had it all to ourselves. The cabins were well stocked. Everything you need if you want to cook some meals on your own. The grounds were very beautiful. Very peaceful sitting on the patio enjoying a glass of wine.

Traumhafte, sehr ruhige Lage. Kein Massentourismus. Direkte Strandlage, wenige Schritte zum Meer mit Traumstrand zum Baden und Treibholz sammeln. Polsterliegen am Strand. Exklusiv für uns. Unterkunft super, toller Garten, sogar Affen kommen mal vorbei. Und Connie war uns eine liebevolle, besorgte, hilfsbereite und umsichtige Gastgeberin, die mit Rat und Tat und auch bei Sonderwünschen immer für uns da war. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke und ganz liebe Grüße an dich, Connie! Besonders ins Herz geschlossen haben wir die junge, lebenslustige Hündin Flash, die mit oft mit uns fröhlich gebadet hat, spazieren war und uns nachts bewacht hat. ? Die Umgebung ist idyllisch.. Um Affen, Faultiere, Leguane, Tukane und andere schöne Vögel und Schmetterlinge. zum sehen, braucht ihr nicht in Naturparks zu fahren, die gibt es auch in Matapalo bei einem Spaziergang, per Fahrrad oder beim Reitausflug zu sehen. Sehr gut und preiswert und oft gegessen haben wir in der Guave Lodge bei Anja und Peter. Sie haben uns auch viele nützliche Tipps gegeben.. Wir haben oft Ausflüge in der Region per Auto gemacht, es gibt etliche schöne Ziele. In der näheren Umgebung waren wir mehrfach mit den Leihfahrrädern der Unterkunft unterwegs. Der Abschied fiel uns schwer.

We were walk ins for one night on a month long stay in Costa Rica and we were graciously accommodated in a beautiful room looking out at the ocean with AC (which was a real plus after being weeks in the south with only fans or not – and we are not sissies). A wonderful cooked breakfast on the porch of the main house complemented our short stay. There are only a few rooms so book early, you will not be disappointed.

Just spent 3 nights there during our week long stay in Costa Rica. If you want quiet, seclusion, peacefulness- look no further. Waking up to monkeys in the trees, watching a pair of toucans sing to one another, star gazing at night where the sky is so black you can see the Milky Way band. The delightful owner Carmen even arranged a kayak tour thru the mangroves and a forest Aqua hike. We can’t recommend this place enough!

This was the best place we stayed by far and was the best value as well! Two beautiful cabins, one with patio and hammock, one with balcony, both in sight and hearing of the gorgeous uncrowded beach. So many places I looked at on line gave the impression they were near the beach, then when you get there you find out it’s not even close! This one really is on the beach! My son and granddaughters and I had so much fun cooking breakfasts and dinners together in the fully equipped charming kitchen. A short walk down the beach was a turtle hatchery we checked every day. The caretaker was so gracious and informative and couldn’t have been nicer! We absolutely loved her! The grounds were beautifully landscaped with palm trees and flowering plants and a haven for birds, geckos, and iguanas! Lovely in every way, we’ll never forget it!!!
